A Year in Review: How Trulioo Powered Global Trust in 2025

As 2025 wraps up, so does one of the most transformative years in digital identity. It was a year marked by growing complexity – regulations tightened, fraud evolved at lightning speed and global enterprises faced mounting pressure to verify faster and smarter.

Trulioo met that moment head-on.

Working side by side with customers and partners, we strengthened verification workflows, expanded global reach and delivered platform innovations designed to outpace the speed of change.

This year-end video captures the milestones that defined our momentum, and the trust we helped build around the world.

Scaling Trust Across the Globe

In 2025, the Trulioo Global Identity Platform didn’t just grow, it scaled to new heights as the trusted verification backbone for organizations worldwide. Today, the platform supports verification for 5 billion people, 700 million business entities and has a network of more than 450 global data sources. And our customer retention rate? Still 100%.

This global footprint was complemented by significant growth across regions. In the U.S., KYB transactions rose by 1966%, while the APAC region saw a 64% increase in revenue as more organizations sought unified, scalable verification solutions.

“We’re witnessing the end of the patchwork era in identity verification,” said Trulioo CEO Vicky Bindra. “Trulioo is helping drive the transformation for banks, payments companies, fintechs and digital marketplaces that need a single, global platform for trusted and scalable onboarding. We remain committed to strengthening the trust infrastructure that supports commerce growth around the world.”

Across markets, our teams delivered solutions tuned to regional realities, helping enterprises navigate complexity with precision and confidence.

A Platform Evolving at the Speed of Trust

Throughout 2025, innovation remained at the heart of the Trulioo platform.

A major milestone was the launch of Trulioo credit decisioning, which brings comprehensive financial, credit and risk insight within the Trulioo Global Identity Platform – transforming how enterprises onboard and assess business customers.

“Trulioo is the only solution global enterprises need for KYB”, said Zac Cohen, Trulioo Chief Product Officer. “We continue to push the boundaries of innovation, building the most sophisticated engine for onboarding businesses, understanding their risk profiles and driving faster, more confident growth. With credit decisioning, we’re uniting identity, fraud and credit intelligence to redefine what streamlined, trusted onboarding looks like on a global scale.”

In addition to credit decisioning, we rolled out several new capabilities that focus on strengthening intelligence, fraud defense and onboarding performance across the customer lifecycle. These include:

  • KYB Monitoring and Web Analytics
  • Known Faces and Advanced Deepfake Fraud Detection
  • KYC Fraud and Risk Insights
  • AI and Machine Learning Document Verification

These advancements helped enterprises verify faster and more securely, contributing up to a 60% reduction in processing times.

With each release, the focus remained the same: build smarter, more adaptive systems that stop complex fraud, accelerate growth and uphold trust at every step.

Celebrating Excellence in 2025

This year also reinforced our leadership in both product excellence and company culture.

Trulioo was named a Leading Vendor in the 2025 Liminal Link Index for Business and Entity Verification for the second consecutive year, reflecting our unmatched coverage, intelligence and verification speed.

“We’re excited to recognize Trulioo for its strong leadership position in this year’s Business and Entity Verification Index,” said Cameron D’Ambrosi, Senior Principal at Liminal. “The Trulioo platform stands out for its real-time processing, advanced fraud detection capabilities and broad global coverage, making it a strategic partner for financial institutions and enterprises looking to strengthen their business onboarding.”

At the Juniper Research Future Digital Awards for Fintech & Payments 2025, we took home Platinum for KYC Innovation and Gold for Identity Verification Innovation, further validating our industry impact.

Trulioo was also named a Key Vendor in the Q2 Forrester Vendor Landscape 2025, reinforcing our momentum and leadership in driving the future of verification. Plus, we were recognized as a BC Top Employer, reflecting our commitment to workplace culture, collaboration and employee experience.

Together, these distinctions reflect a shared purpose: advancing digital trust while cultivating a strong, values-driven community.

Across stages and screens, one message resonated: trusted digital identity is no longer optional, it’s foundational.

The Team Behind the Innovation

Behind every milestone this year was a team united by purpose, passion and community.

Across the company, teams came together for events, volunteer initiatives and local partnerships that strengthened our ties to each other and the communities we serve.

In 2025, we welcomed 47 new team members globally, celebrated 243 work anniversaries and honored employees who reached an incredible 10 years at Trulioo – milestones that speak to the strength and longevity of our culture.

Our Women in Trulioo employee resource group continued to play a central role in shaping an inclusive culture. Through a variety of events and initiatives, the ERG created space for women across the company to share experiences, build community and support one another’s growth. We also co-hosted the inaugural YVR Women in Tech event alongside Hootsuite and Amazon, bringing together voices from across the local tech ecosystem.

We also deepened our commitment to developing emerging talent through our 8-month co-op program with leading universities across British Columbia, supporting 30 students with hands-on learning, mentorship and real-world experience.

Together, these moments reflect a culture built on collaboration, inclusivity and shared impact.

The Next Chapter of Digital Identity

As we close out 2025, the year’s achievements represent more than progress – they’re proof of what’s possible when teams, customers and partners work together to build a more trusted digital economy.

The challenges ahead will continue to evolve, but so will our commitment to meeting them with innovation, collaboration and purpose.

Heading into 2026, we remain focused on helping organizations verify with confidence, fight fraud with resilience and unlock new opportunities for people and businesses around the world.
