What the Final Draft CDD Standards Changed

Trulioo wrote this paper in May 2026, while AMLA’s draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) on Customer Due Diligence were still in consultation. On October 1, 2026, AMLA sent its final draft to the European Commission after 325 consultation responses.

Several questions the original paper called open now have answers. Two of our initial expectations proved incorrect, and business verification, which the paper barely touched, now has clear requirements.
