The 5th annual Privacy Identity Innovation conference, pii2014, will take place November 12-14, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Palo Alto hotel in Silicon Valley. The conference will explore where innovation is heading, what it means for the future of privacy and identity, and how to build trust in emerging technologies and business models. Learn about emerging trends and business models driving the personal information economy, and get guidance on developing strategies and best practices to build trust with your users.

Through a mix of on stage interviews, roundtable discussions and demos, the pii2014 program will focus on recent technologies and trends in areas like mobile, biometrics, the Internet of Things and big data — and what they mean for privacy, identity and reputation. There will also be important discussions about the regulatory landscape and the ethical considerations companies must address in a data-driven world.

On Thursday, November 13th at 5:40pm, Stephen Ufford, Founder & CEO of Trulioo will be on stage with Tarun Wadhwa, Forbes Magazine contributor, and Joni Brennan, the IEEE-SA Technology Evangelist for Internet Identity and Trust, to discuss Personal Data and Identity in Emerging Markets. The conversation will address the challenges and opportunities associated with identity assurance in developing countries (both for commercial purposes and for government use).
