Join Trulioo at the Girls Raising Innovation Challenge 2015 Next Week!
In continuing the conversation about closing the gender gap for women entrepreneurs from my previous post, please join me next week, Tuesday, February 24th at the Girls Raising Innovation Challenge 2015 event to support, educate and encourage female entrepreneurship.
I have been invited to attend as a panelist to provide guidance to budding entrepreneurs for launching a successful company. During the event, attendees will witness four pre-selected founders pitch their startup to a panel of investors and seasoned entrepreneurs. The winning team will get the opportunity to participate in exclusive programming in New York City where they will be introduced to the city’s startup ecosystem as well as key investors, channel parters, mentors and industry experts.
After the pitches, guests have the opportunity to network and network with distinguished founders and funders in Vancouver.
The panel includes:
- Tanis Jorge – Founder & COO Trulioo
- Cybele Negris – Founder & President Webnames.ca
- Brooke Harley – Founder & Parter, Campfire Capital
- Boris Mann – Managing Partner, Full Stack
The event will be held at UnBounce located at 200-717 West Pender Street from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. I hope to see you there!

Her belief in entrepreneurship as a vital piece in the business landscape drives her to help others bring their ideas from concept to fruition.
