BDC IT Venture Fund (BDC) in collaboration with MaRS Discovery District will be hosting the Canadian Fintech Summit 2016 on Monday, April 4th from 8:30am to 5:00pm at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, ON. The conference brings together the brightest leaders in fintech for a day of insightful information from senior executives from the top Fintech firms in North America.

BDC is Canada’s business development bank and the only financial institution dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs. BDC provides assistance for Canadian businesses through financing, consulting services and securitization, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Trulioo’s Anatoly Kvitnitsky, Head of Growth, has been invited to speak about fintech’s impact on Trulioo. As a leader in RegTech, Trulioo’s technology provides an effective and efficient solution that automates and streamlines cross-border AML/KYC across multiple jurisdictions, so that emerging fintech firms (and incumbents) can focus more on innovation and less on compliance.

"Fintech companies are emerging across Canada providing consumers with alternative financial services products that better suit their needs," said Kvitnitsky. "Financial institutions are eager to tap into these innovations, and what better way to make this happen than to invite the decision-makers in a room filled with the latest and greatest innovations in finance?"

We also look forward to hearing from many top Canadian fintech speakers, including Kevin Sandhu, CEO of Grow, Steve Doswell, CEO of SoundPays, Alex Benjamin, CEO of Lendful and Andrew Graham, CEO of Borrowell. The conference will also host round tables with notable key speakers, Angela Strange, C100 Co-Chair from Partner Andreessen Horowitz and Kris Hansen, Director of the Digital Finance Institute.
